Wednesday night we had spaghetti. This morning, I took the kids to the park while Masud slept for a few hours. They had been up since 6:30, so we got there early and had fun while it was still a littl cool outside. We saw the same family we saw the other night and had a nice chat. It was fun to meet another family in the area.
The kids loved the swings. Amir learned to climb the stairs to the slide and did a great job sliding. Lyla climbed the ladder over and over again walked all the way to the park and back with no falls!
After we got home, daddy got up and we packed up for Lyla's choice of activities, the zoo! She walked the whole way at the zoo too. Amir loved the aquarium as usual, especially when he got one of the bubbles all to himself. He had a great time in the bee room too. Masud helped him on the slide over and over again. He even walked around a little! He is looking like such a little boy in his turtle shirt and shoes walking all over the place. He LOVES his turtles shirt! As soon as we put it on he said, "turtles!" and kept saying it throughout the day. We have never even watched turtles, but he still likes them. He reminded me of Ryan with his turtles and boat shoes. My little man!!!
