13 Months!

Happy Thirteen Months, little man! We were so busy this weekend that I didn't remember to take a picture with your bunny until I was putting you down to sleep. One late post in 13 months isn't too bad! 

You're becoming a little boy very quickly. You talk constantly and are into everything. When we can't figure out what you want you get upset and just scream and reach, point, or flap toward what you need. You love to wipe your nose and face and tried to cut your own toenails this weekend. You also love to brush your hair and wear headbands. 

You favorite foods are fruit and cereal, your allergy test came back negative for milk allergy, so we gave you your first glass of whole milk yesterday. You aren't too sure you like it, but no crazy pooping or rash yet, so so far do good! You are definitely allergic to eggs and had a small immune response to peanuts. Dr. Yunis referred us to an allergist for further testing given the hummus reaction. We'll see her next month to learn next steps. It's a two hour appointment, so I'm guessing skin pricks are in your future.

You love Valleyfair and get excited for rides now. It was so great to wash you light up while you waited to get on the cars. It was fun to watch daddy try to teach you to remain seated too!

You're a little bit crazy, a Amir, but that's why I love you. You're smiley and giggly and sure give great snuggles when you're in the mood. You've got teeth coming in this week, so you're a little fussy. You couldn't decide whether to nap or watch tv, so you just snuggled up to daddy on the floor. Lyla followed suit and lay on top of him. My family!
