We left home at 530 am Saturday for Rapid City. The kids both slept in the car and we made great time across Minnesota. I woke up about 20 miles outside Sioux Falls.
Beth kids did great in the car. Lyla likes to play with Amir and I had a prize bag packed with prizes for each of them. After breakfast of pancakes from the cooler, it was time for movies, coloring, and prizes.
Lyla's first prize was a mini beanie baby jaguar. She named it Tai Lung after Kung Fu Panda, of course!
Amir's prize was a taggies blanket. He loves it!
No trip to the Black Hills is complete without a stop at Wall Drug! Kitschy Americana at its best!
After another hour in the car, and a little peanut butter, we made it to our hotel.
