Day Two in Rapid City

Our hotel is eight floors and has a glass elevator. We ride it all the way up and down every time even though we are on floor 3.

We started the day at Old McDonald's Farm. Lyla loved the chickens. She held this one until it pooped on her. After that,  she just looked at them and asked the farmer A LOT of questions.

She was excited for the pig race and cheered for number 5, Hot Dog.

Hot Dog won and shared his prize of Fruit Punch Kool Aid with his friends.

We saw lots of animals,  had a couple fits, and then went for a pony ride. Lyla liked it even though the horses kept stopping and starting. She did a great job keeping her balance.

Amir dint really like the stroller, but I was hot wearing the carrier, so he rode in there for a few minutes.

We got home just in time to watch the World Cup soccer final. Amir wore his blue and white to cheer on Argentina.

I didn't notice it until just now, but i think Amir was trying to tell me something in this picture ..."It's my thumb and I'll suck it if I want to, Mom!"

After soccer we went to Custer State Park for a wildlife safari. Layla's favorite part was not having to rid win her seat.

Amir had a deep conversation with Pooh Bear.

And met the burros for the first time. They were so a close their tails were hitting the car. Good thing we didn't have anything to feed them or they would have come inside.

My beautiful girl. Love her.

And my handsome boy. Love him.

Pizza for dinner, then Harry Potter and some swimming and now we're off to bed!
