After a relaxing morning, we packed up for the Nashville Zoo. Things started well and everyone was excited. The heat and humidity hit us hard though, and Lyla had a bit of a melt down. Snacks always help, but she finally perked up when we took off her orthotics.
The zoo had lots of animal encounters and a giant playground. Amir loved petting the animals and the special "tot spot" at the playground. Lyla liked the flamingos ( they stuck their whole heads under water), the bats, and the elephant.
After we got back we rested for a while and then had a nice swim before dinner.
I was at the Nashville zoo in January! It is a fun one! We also really enjoyed the cool flamingos! Glad you had fun!
