Took the kiddos to the park Sunday morning. Lyla is doing a great job helping Amir and likes to push him on the swings now.
It rained in the afternoon, so we went to Great Grandma's. Amir was scared of her at first, but warmed up after a while -- and some chocolate covered graham crackers. :) grandma made Lyla some coloring sheets.
"Do you have any more of those crackers, Great Grandma?"
Monday Lyla had a great visit with Dr. Sarah. She was happy to see Lyla and said she has improved a lot over the past few months. Lyla's gait and hip rotations are improving, likely thanks to our frequent walks and trips to the park. All that climbing and walking and stairs is strengthening her muscles. Sarah said to stick with the activity because it's really working. SO nice to hear good news!
Tuesday night, Amir did his first solo ride! He sat very nicely on the train all by himself. He crossed his feet and everything. What a doll!
Wednesday night at Valleyfair. It's more fun when you scream!
Meanwhile Amir was totally fascinated by the clip on the stroller. He flipped it back nd forth over nd over again.
And then he was tired so he snuggled with a spare onsie. We didn't bring in a blanket... Whatever works!
Today we had to go back because Masud promised Lyla one more magic show before vacation. Lyla is totally in love with magic and played with her magic set at home for a long time this morning. She mastered the tricks pretty quickly and liked pretending I was her audience, then her student. She's good!
We had lunch and rode the super cat. Both kids love it!
David and Amir play a little game where they copy each other. I think he was trying to send his daycare buddy a message!
It's fun to find photos I forgot I took! Especially when they're so cute!
