Happy Birthday little man! You've had a good week, but I think you've got another tooth coming in because you didn't sleep at Faye's and have been fussy and chewing your hands like crazy at home tonight. Pictures are a little blurry this week because you don't stop moving (and Lyla gets excited to help make you smile and jumps on top of me while I'm taking them).
You're not quite crawling, but since you're feeling better you seem be more motivated to move. You rolled off he couch last night and despite setting you in the middle of the bed before running to the kitchen and back, you hade made it very close to the edge. You also amazed us tonight by doing a plank -- full on push-up position with your tummy off the ground for about twenty five seconds!
You're more interested in food now and took a big bite out of my taco wrap last night. Thankfully you don't have enough teeth to actually bite it off yet. Still, you liked eating the beef filling. You also tried a few small pieces of hot dog and were very excited about having a pears and spinach squeeze pouch of food. You don't quite understand that you can suck the food out, so it gets a little messy with me trying to squirt it in your mouth, but you liked it. You also went to town on mixed veggies and can feed yourself puffs!
We had a fun night back at Family Connections this week. You liked being pulled around in the sled. Lyla was eager to help, but got tired after pulling you around the room a few times.
Tuesday night you got to open your first Christmas present! Great Granmda Dianne sent a package for you two from California and I have always let Lyla open it right away, so we continued the tradition. You liked the paper more than the farm toy wrapped inside. The can't wait to see your reaction to all the paper and bows on Christmas Day!
