This weekend we wanted a relaxing weekend with the family. We went out and about of course, but took our time just being a family. Saturday we picked up Great Grandma and she entertained Amir while I made dinner. Chicken and dumplings was a hit!
Today we went to the zoo and were lucky enough to see the beaver at work, new wolf pups, and lots of cute baby animals.
Then we went to Cindy's new place for lunch and to meet our newest family member, baby Anastasia! She was born Tuesday and is a beautiful, tiny little lady. We're so happy to welcome her to our family! After being with her for a few hours this afternoon, Lyla is finally starting to get her name right; she has been eager to meet " baby anesthesia" all week.
We had fun with the family and even went swimming! Lyla also had a workout with her favorite trainer, Uncle Ryan. Amir had a nice nap with Grandpa. After we got home we watched tv and had spaghetti dinner. Lyla loves to hang out with Masud and watch Rocky IV.
