Zoo Day

Lyla was very antsy after two days of doctor appointments, so we needed a day out today and headed to the zoo. Since Lyla, Masud, and Amma saw the inside stuff on Wednesday, today was an outside day. The weather was perfect!

Lyla always loves the tractor ride to the farm.

Amir was very interested in his foot the whole day. Curiously, it was only the left foot. 

We brushed the goats, then washed our hands and went to see the chickens. Lyla said they were her favorite and she loved seeing eggs in their nests. 

We took this selfie while waiting for the cow milking demonstration to start. 

I know all too well how this cow is feeling. She gave 17.6 lbs of milk in about 10 minutes!

After seeing the milking, Amir had a milk break of his own.

We ended our zoo day with a run in the sprinklers. We usually don't do the splash pad, but Lyla needed to let loose and run around or a while. She loved it! And it was fun to watch!
