Today we got up ready for another day of fun. We planned to go to the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue. It was a little rainy at breakfast and on the way there, but once we got there it was mostly over. The cats were almost all active, likely because it was cooler. Somehow I still got sunburned.
Dozer the black leopard.
Thunder.
Bam Bam.
Bam Bam with sister Pebbles and Thunder. They grew up together. They made short work of some frozen chickens.
Diamond.
Avalanche, a male.
Avalanche on the left with with his sister (same litter) Snowball. I couldn't believe how much smaller she is!
We made a quick stop at the Ochsner Park Zoo on our way back. Amir enjoyed climbing the fences. This is where we saw the Bears.
After we got back to Portage, we had lunch at KFC. It was a nice departure from Mac and Taco Bell and both kids loved it. Amir zonked out shortly after getting to the hotel. Lyla did a math workbook and watched ninja warrior while the rest of us slept.
Lyla and I snapped some selfies while the boys were still sleeping. Silly, peace signs, and a sad face.
For dinner we had cheese popcorn and leftover chicken and mashed potatoes during our movie night. The pool was closed and we napped to long to go to any of the attractions left on our list. It was nice to relax and have a family night just hanging out. Lyla picked out some killer cheese microwave popcorn. Yum!
