Saturday started with peanut butter toast .. .he wasn't so sure, but five days later he already says pee-ba and chows it down. Yay for no peanut allergy!
Fun in the sand at Valleyfair. Amir loves the animatronic dinosaurs and stops playing to RAR and make claws with them every time they move.
These two rode the Tilter three times in a row. I wasn't up to it after lunch.
Lyla loves to have her picture with Snoopy lately!
Sunday Lyla wanted cinnamon rolls, so I got up and made a proof box at. 4:30 am to thaw the bread dough. Amir. Was up at 7 and helped me turn the dough into rolls, then Lyla helped make the icing later in the morning. SO GOOD.
Sunday afternoon we had lunch at Arby's and went to Grandma's. Lyla finally got to use her flower sprinkler from Aunt Emily. Another summer dream come true! Amir preferred the water table and the stairs.
And, or course, lots of snuggling with Grandpa.
Monday night was snuggle time with Herky, who did very well being smushed about by Amir. It reminded me of a photo of Ryan "hugging" the cats when we were kids.
More dinosaur time. This one is approachable.
Tuesday was the big graduation, but we also picked our first strawberry!
Lyla decided Amir needed a nest in the living room. When did they get so big?!
Marathon walk last night took us to both parks by our house. We happened upon Finn, who helped Lyla with the log roller and pushed her on the tire swing. Always fun to run into family!
