Ours to Discover!

It's August and that. Mans we're headed North! We drove up last night and spent a fun day in Thunder Bay today. Good thing we came back for a nap between the museum and the waterfall because we were t-i-r-e-d! Lyla has learned to spell tired because Masud and I always spell it out to each other when we notice her tired cues. 

After swimming this morning we went to the Thunder Bay museum and then out for lunch at Pizza Hut. After naps it was time for a trip to Kakabeka Falls. The weather is beautiful and there we no bugs or anything on the trails. We walked the whole thing and could even feel the mist on our faces!

Dinner at McDonald's in Canada is always an adventure. They don't have Lyla's standard double hamburger, but they do sell lobster rolls and grilled cheese happy meals. Lyla is having lots of fun with her Smurfs toys and we all got ice cream cones with our happy meals too!

Loving a family retreat! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
