Yesterday we packed up the kids and hit the road at 5:30 am for a Texas road trip! It's time for a week away and this one will be extra great because we're staying with family and friends.
The kids did great in the car; we're so lucky they are satisfied with videos and small surprises. We had lunch at taco bell in Oklahoma. They even gave us extra tacos after putting cheese on Lyla's plain order.
After 14.5 hours we made it to the Anam's. Their house is beautiful and they were happy to welcome us. We got settled, had dinner and we're off to bed!
