Perot Museum

Yesterday we had a great time at the Perot Museum. We went to every floor, but still missed a lot. Even the outside of the museum was beautiful!

Chef Amir loved cooking around the camp fire in the children's museum area. And then he found the boats at the water table.

And the art area where you could choose from all kinds of craft supplies. Amir learned to use a hole punch and loved it. Lyla could have stayed there all day.

We left art to get a snack and see the 3d movie about national parks. Both kids liked it. Amir was a little antsy, but did well for a 40 minute sitting session.

We all liked the dinsaours. Masud and Lyla played the predator and prey game and won three times in a row.

A family favorite was the earthquake simulator. I loved looking at the minerals,  but everyone else was bored there. Masud and Lyla did a 4d movie on oil drilling while Amir and I looked at the pretty rocks.

Lyla waited all day to ride the escalator. It was her favorite part.

And then we found the engineering floor where we should have gone much earlier. Amir liked the music booth and Lyla had fun building a tower and a ball run.
