Lyla wanted to dance, so we took turns doing "shake it down to the ground!" Lyla can even do it on her own now without holding onto anything. She loves to dance!
Sunday was chill in the morning. We cleaned the house and watched tv. Lyla likes to help with sweeping and washing. She is also getting good at 30 minute cleanup time. It's week her job was picking up all the socks, underwear and pants lying around the house (she likes to undress and leave her clothes in random places).
We took a trip to Walmart for valentines and some cards, then had lunch at Arby's. After we got home Lyla and grandpa took a nap. Then she painted nails with Grandma and worked on a building project with grandpa.
After lunch, we packed up and headed to Great Grandma's for a quick visit before meeting Uncle Ryan at the MOA for the hem/Onc winter fun fest. Grandma is always happy to have a visit from Lyla. We made valentines for grandma's fridge and Lyla rode on grandma's walker through the lobby. They both love the attention they get when the lobby is full of people. Having a kid to show off in that place is like being a celebrity!
The MOA was a lot of fun, but Lyla was exhausted by the time we left and so was I! That's a lot of walking and wheelchair pushing for a pregnant lady! Thankfully Ryan was along and able to take Lyla on most of the rides. She had a great time on her new favorites the log chute and the swings. She even tried the Reptarmobiles (preschool bumper cars) and was having a great time until a kid caught her off guard and she hit her nose on the steering wheel. Thankfully by that time the ride was almost over. She did a great job driving!
Pandy is doing well too. At my appointment on Monday Dr. Randall said I don't need to be concerned about the placenta previa and that all the recent stress in my life shouldn't have a negative effect on him. Pandy is measuring about a week ahead, but I'm not expecting him to come early. He is head down and too big to flip much these days, but I feel him kicking and moving around in there all the time. I don't even bother with kick counts because it seems Iike he is always moving. Only 10 more weeks and we will have a baby in the house -- eek!
