At the Hospital and Coming Home

After having Amir on Thursday night, we spent about 36 hours in the hospital. The time seemed short, but we were all ready to go home. Despite being tired, my body felt so much better after having Amir born that I was actually feeling pretty good for the first time in a while.

Air saw the pediatrician and the lactation consultant. They agreed he was tongue tied, so Masud went with him on Friday to have his frenulum clipped. It didn't take long and Masud said he did well with it.  Amir had a strong suck to start with, but after the clipping it is even better.

We had lots of visitors Friday and Saturday. It was great to see everyone and get so many calls, texts and messages. This little man is definitely loved!

Saturday afternoon head his circ and shortly after that we packed up and headed home. Masud and I got settled in with Amir and then he went out to get some dinner. He was back shortly and met Mom, Dad, and Lyla in the elevator. It was great to be home as a family and all be together again!
