Yesterday we had a great Thanksgiving at Mom an Dad's. the day started with breakfast and ornaments like it has for 30 odd years now and then the Thornburg family came over for lunch.
Between meals, Lyla played the piano and conducted a photo shoot.
Photos by Lyla (unless she is in them):
Masud wasn't able to join for breakfast, but came over shortly before lunch. His ornament was a pineapple!
Lyla had fun playing with her cousins, especially Josie. Tey locked themselves in the playroom upstairs and wouldn't let any adults in. I guess hospital and doctor are kid only games. Lyla expressed frustration that Josie always wanted to switch games ...
We told the family that Pandy is a BOY! Next Thanksgiving we will have a new little man about the same age Corey was this year. Crazy!
Shaun directed coloring time. Everything was on until I said the big girls should use crayons like the little kids because several people were already covered in non-washable marker. Lyla go typeset an did in Grandpa and Grandma's room, where she later insisted on taking a picture of Masud and I (yes, she told me to stand far away from him) and a family group shot.
